Question Of The Week: What’s Your Thoughts On Job Approval For Local Governments

Oskaloosa, Iowa- Last week, we asked you if you thought Oskaloosa would win their homecoming game. 30 residents responded with 22 residents (73%) saying Yes, and 8 residents (27%) saying No. The Question of the week poll is unscientific and does not reflect the views of Osky News.

This week we turn out attention to local governments and how you believe they are doing at their elected jobs.

Much attention is paid to federal and state poll numbers, while local elected officials have very little to gauge themselves from, other than contact with those they serve.

Recent actions by city councils and school boards have drawn attention, both positive and negative, about job performance, and with debate being sparked about who has their interest being served best.
