Question of the Week: Do you believe Herman Cain was guilty of wrong doing, or the victim of Character Assassination?
Oskaloosa, Iowa- Last week, we asked you if you still supported the Lighted Christmas Parade. 97 residents responded with 66 residents (68%) saying Yes, 26 residents (27%) saying No, and 5 residents (5%) saying Unsure. The Question of the Week Poll is unscientific and does not reflect the views of Osky News.
Our question this week takes on a national flavor with Herman Cain’s recent announcement that he is suspending his Presidential Campaign. The question being posed is “do you believe that Herman Cain was guilty of wrong doing or was he the victim of character assassination?”
Cain recently suspended his campaign on the accusations of having an affair for 13 years. This allegation came just as the buzz of reports of sexual harassment from other women had started to subside. Cain’s announcement came after recent polls showed he had plummeted from his national front runner status.
Those who say Cain was guilty cite the number of allegations against Cain. They say that because so many woman had come out with stories, it showed that something had happened. Those who say Cain was a victim of character assassination cite the media reports on the allegations. They say that the media overplayed the allegations against Cain, leading to his campaign’s downfall.
Now it’s your turn to decide. Vote in our online poll. The poll will be open until next Sunday when we will close the poll and release the final results.
