All three of the 7th grade girl’s teams were in action against Newton last night.

The A team had a very strong performance, they started the game fast and led the entire game. The team played a complete game being aggressive on both sides of the ball and earned there second win of the season 35-18. Maddie Haines led the way with a season high 16 points. Kaylee Johnson had 6 points. Emily Simon and Alexis Sidebottom added 4. Abby Braundmeier and Jillian Jennings rounded out the scoring with 3 and 2 points a piece. The A team improved is now 2-4.

The B team worked hard but came up short in a close game that ended 8-4. It was nice to the things that we worked on in practice showing up in the game, but it also showed us what we need to continue to work on. Alexis Sidebottom and Abigail Vroegh each scored 2 points. The B team is now 1-4.

The C team worked hard but like the B team came up short and lost 15-8. Also similar to the B team they showed things that we have been working on in practice, but also things we need to continue to work on and improve. Jazmin Chavez, Keke Lawrence, Linette Rameriez and Teale Pose all had 2 points. The C team’s record is 1-4.

This was the girl’s last game of 2015 and won’t have another game until we return from break in January!
