OHS Golf Golfer Continues To Improve

Johnathon finished his sophomore season at the state tournament today with some improvement from yesterday. He battled on a difficult course and while he might not have had his best stuff, he grinded and gave it his all. He started the day in a tie for 37th and held his ground!

We are very proud of him for qualifying as an individual, which is very difficult to do. He made a lot of improvements from his freshman year and it will be exciting to see what happens with another offseason! This is John’s second trip to state as he was a part of a state-qualifying team last year which he was a big part! As most of you know, he’s also an excellent student and earned an academic all-conference award as well.

John is a great ambassador for Osky golf and he will be a great leader for us going forward!

This summer will be an important one for the team, as we will look to make a return to state as a team. Should be a great summer! I can’t wait to see the competition amongst teammates next season!
