North’s Walk-off Picture Perfect Ending In Oskaloosa Indians Varsity’s Victory Over ALBIA

Oskaloosa Indians Varsity took Tuesday’s game in dramatic fashion, with a 6-5 walk-off victory over ALBIA. Oskaloosa Indians Varsity was down 5-4 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Aiden North homered on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs.

Oskaloosa Indians Varsity earned the victory despite allowing ALBIA to score three runs in the seventh inning. The offensive firepower by ALBIA was led by Jackson Pence and Pence, who all drove in runs.

ALBIA got on the board in the first inning when an error scored one run for ALBIA.

After ALBIA scored one run in the top of the fifth, Oskaloosa Indians Varsity answered with one of their own. ALBIA scored when Garin Grandstad drew a walk, scoring one run.

Oskaloosa Indians Varsity notched three runs in the sixth inning. Charlie North, Trey Miller, and Marcus Fresquez all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Logan Hoskinson pitched Oskaloosa Indians Varsity to victory. The bulldog lasted one inning, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out two and walking zero. Jackson Shafer, Kamden Criss, and Miller all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.

Eli Smith toed the rubber for ALBIA. The hurler lasted four innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out two. Drew Chance threw two innings out of the bullpen.

Alex Christ started the game for Oskaloosa Indians Varsity. The righty went three innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out four and walking one

Oskaloosa Indians Varsity socked one home run on the day. North put one out in the seventh inning.

Fresquez, Miller, North, and North each managed one hit to lead Oskaloosa Indians Varsity.

Smith led ALBIA with two hits in four at bats.
