MHP Hosts Oskaloosa Community Schools Kindergarten Classes
OSKALOOSA – Mahaska Health Partnership recently hosted the Kindergarten classes of Oskaloosa Elementary School. The children visited several departments, including Radiology where they looked at X-rays, Physical and Occupational Therapy where they learned about exercise, Laboratory where they got to see germs and hear about the importance of good hand washing, and the ambulance service. Pictured is Paramedic Rick Norris of MHP Emergency Services showing Macy Braden how they monitor a patient’s heart rate. Paramedic Mike Mothershed looks on.
