Local Zumba Fitness group holds Breast Cancer Charity event.

Oskaloosa, Iowa – Just under 30 individuals participated and over $250.00 dollars were raised at Yarkosky & Co. Dance Production’s uptown location Wednesday evening. Zumba Fitness LLC has partnered with the Susan G. Komen Foundation to host charity benefits to raise funds as well as awareness regarding research towards a cure for breast cancer.

The event, located at 203 High Ave East Oskaloosa, began by uniting a prayer circle in recognition of the survivors and victims of breast cancer known to us all. After that, the fun began! Lots of dancing, great music and laughter were shared by all. Oh yes, and we cannot forget the calorie burning and toning!!
