MaKena Veldhuizen goes in for 2 of her 15 points against Pella, Friday night

Oskaloosa, Iowa – The crowd came to life as the 10 and 6 Indians came very near to beating their rivals from up the road in Pella Friday night, but came up short 48 to 53.

MaKena Veldhuizen lead the Indians with 15 points with Kenzie Gott adding an extra 13 more. Taylor Crawford 7, Sarandyn Curtis 6, Allie Christenson 5, Kesley Killasch 2 points.

Gott lead the charge to the board claiming 6 rebounds on the night and blocking a shot. MaKena Veldhuizen and Taylor Crawford had 3 rebounds each, with Sarandyn Curtis and Allie Christenson with 2 each.

For Pella, Reagan Cooper lead the charge putting up 20 points, with Katelyn Sunderman 13 more.

The Oskaloosa Girls close out the regular home season on Tuesday night against Knoxville.
