Samantha, the daughter of Brian and Penny Lingle, is a native of Manilla and currently attends Manning HS where she will graduate this spring.

A three-time all-conference honoree (two first-team awards), Lingle has been meet medalist once, has earned three runner-up accolades, and collected one bronze. Due to high school girls golf being played in the spring, Lingle still has her senior season left to add to her awards list.

“We are very excited to have Sam as the newest member of the Lady Statesmen golf team,” Rule said. “She has experienced success at the high school level, is very coachable, and has a desire to get better and excel both on the golf course and in the classroom. Her game has a high ceiling and I believe she can contribute to this program throughout her college career.”

“Just as important to us is that Sam wants to be a part of a team and that is what we have here” Rule said. “Everything we do is for the team and she embraces that and has a desire to be a part of that.”

William Penn is currently ranked #30 in the NAIA and is seeking to earn its first trip to the national tournament in program history.
