League’s Runner of the Week Accolade to Williams

Brandon Williams (Jr., Fountain, Colo., Civil Engineering) topped the standings for the second week in a row, and this time around he collected some much-deserved recognition by being named Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week Monday.

Oskaloosa–Brandon Williams (Jr., Fountain, Colo., Civil Engineering) topped the standings for the second week in a row, and this time around he collected some much-deserved recognition by being named Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week Monday.

Williams won his first career honor after pacing William Penn at the Grand View Invitational.

The junior was first out of 69 harriers with a time of 26:41.4. The title is his second of the year and he also helped the Statesmen to their second-consecutive team crown.

Williams has placed in the top five in all three of his races this year.

The weekly award is the program’s first this year.
