Last call is nearing for Main Street Oskaloosa’s Lighted Christmas Parade–“Candy Cane Christmas” entries. Your entry form must be in to the Main Street office of the Oskaloosa Area Chamber no later than Friday, November 1, to be properly staked in the line up. Entries received after that date may be placed at the end of the parade and may not be included in the announcer’s narrative if received too late. The date for the parade is Thursday, December 5. Friday’s participation is optional. All entries are welcome to display Friday, December 6 from 6 – 7:00 pm during the Carols, Candles and Cocoa Gathering Awards Ceremony downtown. The parade will include entries from all over Mahaska County and the surrounding counties. If you need an entry form, call 641-672-2591 or FAX your entries to 641-672-2047. We’re looking forward to a fantastic parade and cannot do it without you.
