Lange Claims Second Heart Honor

Oskaloosa–Olivia Lange (Jr., Buckeburg, Germany, Business Management) parlayed a title into more recognition as she was named Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week Monday.

Lange, who is now a two-time league recipient, paced William Penn to the team crown at the FST Invitational last Monday and Tuesday.

The junior won the individual medalist laurel in the 43-player field with a two-day score of 156 as she carded a pair of 78s. Her 36 holes featured six birdies (best in the field) and 14 pars, and she topped all participants in par-4 (4.38) and par-5 (4.70) scoring.

This season, Lange owns a 78.4 stroke average over 14 rounds. She has one tournament victory along with four other top-10 efforts. The junior has eight rounds in the 70s, including a season-low 71.

The award is the third of the season for WPU.
