Judy Joann Clenin, age 71, of New Sharon, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2020 at Grinnell Regional Hospital in Grinnell, Iowa. She was born on January 23, 1949, the daughter of Lonnie and Margaret (Scarlett) Clark in Centerville, Iowa.

Judy attended Centerville Jr. High. She was united in marriage to John Clenin.

Judy worked at a box factory for a year before going to work at Glennwood Specialty Care.

She enjoyed knitting, sewing, puzzle books and collecting stuffed animals.

She is survived by her sons, Stuart (& Amy) Jones of Lawrenceville, Georgia and Damion Jones of Norcross, Georgia; and a sister, Jean Collins of New Sharon.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her common law husband, Emery Black.

As was her wish, Judy’s body has been cremated and there are no services planned at this time. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
