Indians Can’t Quite Erase 6-Run Deficit In Loss To Albia

Indians’ effort to come back from down six runs in the fourth inning came up just short, as they fell 8-6 to Albia on Thursday. Indians scored four runs in the failed comeback on a walk by Jake North in the fourth, an error in the fourth, a double by Maddux Ashman in the fifth, and a single by Linus Morrison in the fifth.

Caden Johnson took the loss for the Indians. The pitcher lasted one inning, allowing three hits and five runs while walking one.

Indians totaled nine hits. Morrison and Ashman each collected multiple hits for the Indians. Ashman and Morrison each collected three hits to lead Indians.

Albia Runs Away With Early Lead In Game Two for The Victory

Indians fell behind early and couldn’t come back in an 11-0 loss to Albia on Thursday.

The Indians struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Albia, giving up 11 runs.

A single by Landon Romas in the second inning was positive for the Indians.

Maddux Maxwell was on the pitcher’s mound for the Indians. Maxwell lasted one inning, allowing six hits and six runs while striking out one. Lucas Tubekis, Tate Peterson, and Grady Kool each contributed to relief for Indians.
Ty Lorentzen, Carter Hoskinson, Romas, and Peterson each collected one hit to lead the Indians.
