GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College’s men’s soccer squad had another big season, and the Pioneers have been rewarded with three selections to the 2017 All-Midwest Conference Team.
Antonio DiMarco ’18 claimed All-MWC honors for the third time in his career, and repeated as a first-team selection. Artis Curiskis ’18 and Thomas Pflipsen ’20 were named to the second team.
DiMarco, a forward who last week was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District team, ranked second in the league in points with 33 and goals with 13. Those figures rank sixth and seventh best for a season at Grinnell, respectively.
He was also third in the conference in assists with seven, seventh-best in a season at Grinnell. He ranks second in program history with 22 career assists, sixth in points with 78 and seventh in goals with 28.

As a team, Grinnell finished 9-9-1 and advanced to the MWC Tournament title game for the 10th time in program history.
Knox College won two of the individual league honors as Phelipe Graske was named Defensive Player of the Year and Alessandro Benelli the Newcomer of the Year.
