Gov. Branstad launches 43-city “Working Together for a Better Future” tour

Tour will begin Monday, June 6th and will take Branstad to all corners of Iowa
(DES MOINES) – Gov. Terry E. Branstad today announced that he will embark on a 43-city “Working Together for a Better Future” tour that will take him across the state. The tour will launch Monday, June 6, 2011 following the administration’s weekly press conference.
“We have offered a budget reconciliation that improves Iowa’s long-term sustainability, and it will take all of us working together in order to ensure Iowa’s future growth,” said Branstad. “I look forward to traveling the state to discuss the state’s budget and our plans to restore honest budgeting practices. The tour will provide Iowans information regarding my administration’s plan to build a strong fiscal foundation for the future and create jobs in Iowa.”
