Douglas P. Babcock, 63, of Oskaloosa, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 at the Mahaska Hospice Serenity House. Doug was born February 8, 1959, in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Charles and Evelyn (Adkison) Babcock.
Doug was a graduate of Muscatine High School, he pursued a career in healthcare
services.
Doug was an EMT, Paramedic, and Licensed Practical Nurse in Iowa, Missouri, and
Kansas.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his devoted friend, Kathy Garner; brother, Jim (& Joan) Babcock; nephews, Andrew Babcock and Alec (& Jennifer) Babcock; a niece, Brandi Cox; and their families.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Steve; and paternal/maternal grandparents.
Per his wishes, there were no visitation or funeral services.
Cremation rites were facilitated by Bates Funeral Chapel.
