Barnes City Family Looking For Information On Missing Daughter

Barnes City, Iowa – One area youth never made it home from a visit to her grandparents in Florida Sunday, and her parents are asking for your help in locating her.

Rhiannon Higgins, 17, was due to return home to Barnes City after a visit with her grandparents in Florida. There, Rhiannon boarded the flight to Dallas from Jacksonville, but according to Rhiannon’s mother Brenda, never boarded the flight from Dallas to Des Moines.

Update – On June 22, 2012, Rhiannon’s family informed Oskaloosa News that she had been found and is OK. Brenda Higgins stated, “The good news is that we know where she is. Now it is a matter of getting her home.”
