Art On The Square 2011

Art On The Square 2011 had a good turn out, and what ended up being very nice weather

Osky News had one of the best seats in the house for the 2011 version of Art on the Square.

Paintings, carvings, metalworking, jewelry, glass-work, ceramics, fabric fashions, and photography were all on display from artists. Wood pots made from the roots of Lilac Bushes, was an interesting conversation piece at a table near to us.

We were on hand to display and sell some photographs from our past year of news. Everything from the blue Bandstand in the center of the Park, the CERT Team unloading water, or Oskaloosa Fire Fighters working in the freezing temps in December at a fire.

We didn’t sell much, but we sure had the pleasure of meeting many more people, and hopefully making a few more friends along the way.
