Oskaloosa–Nicole Craft (Jr., Wakefield, Neb., Physical Education) was one of the best competitors on the lanes last weekend and for her efforts she was named Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Bowler of the Week Monday.

Craft’s first-ever weekly league award is also the first ever for the William Penn women’s bowling program. The junior captured the accolade after finishing third out of 440 individuals to be named to the all-tournament team at the Hoosier Classic with a 205.5 pin average (1,233 total pins).

Craft eclipsed the 200 mark three times with a high of 221. The epitome of level play, her worst round was still solid at 187. Her efforts helped the Statesmen finish in 13th place out 66 squads.

For the year, the junior is averaging 185.7 pins per game (43 games) with a high of 231. She has two top-10 efforts to her credit.
