Oskaloosa, Iowa—The Mahaska County YMCA bus received a much needed facelift thanks to many volunteers and funding through United Way. Bill Ludwick, the House and Grounds Committee Chair, said “The YMCA bus was badly in need of some attention. We really appreciate all the work the volunteers put into this project. The detail work is just incredible.”

Jason Shafer, Y Facility Director and members of the House and Grounds Committee helped to prepare the bus for painting. Brent McMains, Rick McCombs and several other Musco team members painted the bus. Arnold Motor Supply, Brandon Bandstra, Musco Sign Shop, and Bill and Ray’s Auto all contributed to the project as well.

“Summer Fun Club started today. The kids and staff were very excited to ride on what looks to be a new bus,” said Dawn Collins, YMCA Executive Director. “I continue to be thankful for the support the YMCA receives from our community.”
