WPU Squads Remain in Top 20 as NAIA Releases Fourth RPI

Oskaloosa–The Statesmen bowling teams continue to sit in the top 20 as the NAIA produced its fourth RPI rankings recently.

The Statesmen women are currently ninth in the NAIA with an RPI of .610, while SCAD-Savannah (Ga.) is now #1 at .689. WPU is also up to 21st among schools from all divisions in the USBC standings with 3,187 points. Wichita State (Kan.) is first in the USBC with 5,037 points.

The William Penn men are currently 18th within the NAIA (.562) with SCAD-Savannah also first on the men’s side at .675. In the USBC, the Statesmen are 45th with 2,677 points, while Webber International (Fla.) heads the country (5,524 points).

Gabi Evans (Sr., West Liberty, Iowa, Psychology and Sociology) is averaging 192.0 pins per game to pace the women, while four individuals are above 180 pins per round.

Bryce Keykal (Jr., Princeton, Minn., Education) tops the men with a 196.3 average over 46 games, while the Statesmen have four individuals over the 190-pin threshold.
