Des Moines–The William Penn wrestling team was unable to pull off a major upset Friday as it fell 54-0 to #1 Grand View in Heart of America Athletic Conference dual-meet action.

The Statesmen (2-4, 1-4 Heart) was on the losing end of all of its matches with 174-pounder Austinn Goin (Sr., Belton, Mo., Exercise Science) serving as the lone grappler to go the distance. The senior battled #4 Lawton Benna and came up just short in a 9-4 decision.
