William Penn Holds Eighth Annual Statesmen Awards Show

Oskaloosa–The Eighth Annual Statesmen Awards Show was held in the Penn Activity Center Thursday with 20 awards handed out in recognition of athletic achievements from the 2024-2025 school year.

Male Performance of the Year–Breck Putzier (Men’s Lacrosse vs. Midland)

Female Performance of the Year–Chelsey Huff (Softball vs. Missouri Valley)

Upset of the Year–Baseball versus Central Methodist

Male Freshman of the Year–Trenton Giese (Shotgun Sports)

Female Freshman of the Year–Christianah Ogunsanya (Women’s Wrestling)

Male Newcomer of the Year–Connor O’Reilly (Men’s Soccer)

Female Newcomer of the Year–Kendall Bostelman (Women’s Wrestling)

Individual NAIA Championship Performance of the Year–Edan Sears (Men’s Soccer)

Team NAIA Championship Performance of the Year–Men’s Soccer

Individual Postseason Performance of the Year–D’Artagnon Beaver (Men’s Cross Country and Men’s Track and Field at Heart Championships)

Team Postseason Performance of the Year–Shotgun Sports at ACUI Nationals

Male Game of the Year–Men’s Soccer vs. William Carey

Female Game of the Year–Women’s Wrestling vs. Grand View
