William Penn Earns Top Spot in MCC Preseason Poll
Oskaloosa–The William Penn softball team will begin 2013 in the similar position of being chased as the Midwest Collegiate Conference preseason coaches’ poll was released Tuesday.
The Lady Statesmen, who were 47-18 last year (22-2 MCC), claimed both the MCC’s regular season (sixth) and tournament (third) titles. They capped 2012 with their third appearance in the NAIA National Championships.
