Weather Related Announcements For February 14, 2012
Winter weather has rushed back into the area today causing difficult travel at times
Oskaloosa, Iowa – Winter has rushed back into the area today. The National Weather Service has called for accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and winds between 9 and 14 mph, with gusts up to 18 mph. Then, in the evening, a freezing rain and mist settled into the area causing treacherous travel.
As a result of the road conditions, area schools and civic groups are cancelling activities. Here they are as they become available to us:
- Chariton Schools – 2 hour delay
- Albia Schools – 2 hour delay
- Ottumwa Schools – 2 hour delay
- Centerville Schools – 2 hour delay
- Cardinal Schools – 2 hour delay
- Moravia Schools – 2 hour delay
