By the authority vested in the Committee Diana Dawley, Auditor; Beverly Malloy, Recorder; Lana Taylor, Treasurer we unanimously call a Special Election to fill the vacancy in lieu of appointment. Signed this 3rd day of January 2012. Diana Dawley, Auditor; Beverly Malloy, Recorder and Lana Taylor, Treasurer.”

In the end, two candidates were chosen, one each from their respective parties.
