Supervisors Quicly Move Through Agenda

Mahaska County Board of Supervisors for July 2, 2012

Oskaloosa, Iowa – The Mahaska County Board of Supervisors met in regular session, with an agenda that proved easy to overcome.

The nearly 11 minute meeting was called to order with the customary moment of silence. From there on, the Supervisors got down to work and tackled an agenda made up mostly of resolutions that required very little time.

After a quick approval of the agenda and minutes from the June 18th meeting, the bills for June were approved.

Fred Bridges was appointed as the Veterans Affairs Commissioner for a 3 year ter, after the position had been publicized for 3 months.

The Quarterly and Annual reports from the Auditor were approved.

The Application for a fireworks display, in the applicants name of Travis Messer, for C0-Line Welding was approved.

CPC (Central Point of Coordinator) presented service contracts for both Imagine the Possibilities and MHP Behavorial Health. Both contracts were the same as past years, including the rate being charged remaining the same. The contracts were approved.

The Appropriations, Operating Transfers, Salaries Resolutions were all passed.

After no public comments or any other matters to come before the board, the motion was passed for adjournment.

The next Supervisors meeting will be July 16th at 9 am in the 3rd floor conference room of the courthouse.
