Oskaloosa–The William Penn wrestling team was unable to knock off #14 Baker, falling 39-9 in a Heart of America Athletic Conference dual meet Friday.

WPU (1-8, 0-4 Heart) claimed one victory and was also awarded a forfeit win in the meet.

The hosts dropped the first two matches of the evening before Tyshon Cannon (Jr., LaGrange, Ga., Psychology) got the navy and gold on the board at 141 pounds with a 6-3 triumph over Tyler Dickman.

Unfortunately, the rest of the night belonged to the Wildcats (4-4, 2-2 Heart), but Will Wan (So., Des Moines, Iowa, Sociology) wrapped up the event by receiving a forfeit at heavyweight.

Next Up: William Penn travels to Des Moines Saturday to face Benedictine in a Heart dual at noon.
