Statesmen #4 in Postseason Poll

Oskaloosa–The William Penn men’s basketball team’s semifinal run landed it at #4 as the NAIA’s Division I postseason poll was released Wednesday.

The Statesmen, who ended their season at 33-4, collected 226 points. WPU went 3-1 at nationals, advancing to at least the quarterfinals for the fourth-straight time.

William Penn is joined by fellow Heart of America Athletic Conference programs Grand View (#24), Mount Mercy (#27), and Benedictine (#32) in the rating.

National champion Texas Wesleyan is the NAIA’s #1 with 250 points and all 10 first-place votes, while Life (Ga.), LSU Alexandria, and Dalton (Ga.) round out the top five.
