Oskaloosa–Headlined by a top-20 victory, Makail Stanley (Fr., Oreana, Ill., Biology) posted a perfect week en route to being named Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s Wrestler of the Week Monday.

Stanley won his first-career laurel by going 3-0 last Thursday at the Missouri Valley Clash Duals.

The freshman, who is ranked #15 in the NAIA, opened his day with a 10-5 victory over Brice Parks of Campbellsville (Ky.). He then got past Matthew Sells of Cumberland (Tenn.) 8-3 before wrapping up the Duals with a pin over #20 Kendall Biddle of Ottawa (Ariz.) in a time of 4:53.

For the year, Stanley is 12-4 with five falls and two major decisions to his credit.

The award is the first of the season for WPU.
