Second weekly conference honor for Central’s O’Hare

PELLA—Another stellar performance on the mound over the weekend for Central College baseball senior Declan O’Hare (senior, Los Angeles, Calif., John Marshall HS) earned him a second American Rivers Conference Pitcher of the Week accolade.

O’Hare was previously honored on March 13 for his performance against The College of St Scholastica (Minn.) on the team’s Florida trip.

The right-handed senior allowed just one earned run while striking out seven in a 3-1 win over Simpson College Sunday afternoon. He scattered seven hits and two walks over seven innings. He had the second of Central’s three wins over Simpson in a weekend series sweep.

Central’s baseball team has a doubleheader at Buena Vista University Tuesday at 3 p.m.
