Question of the Week: Are you excited for the new stadium?

Oskaloosa, Iowa- Last week, we asked you if you believed President Obama should return home early from his vacation. 26 residents responded with 16 residents (62%) saying Yes, and 10 residents (38%) saying No. The question of the week poll is unscientific and does not reflect the views of Osky News.

This week, we focus on a local item. For several weeks now, we have been hearing updates and discussions on the new community stadium. The updates have been on the construction of the stadium and whether or not it would be ready for use this year. Some have expressed their thoughts on whether or not they are looking forward to the new stadium.

Those who are excited for the new stadium say that it is a much needed upgrade. They say that the new stadium will be a safer and more up to date facility for this community. Those are are not excited for it cite a lack of tradition. They say that the old stadium has many long time traditions with it that will not die off.
