Tickets are now available for the Purple Ribbon Dinner and Auction.

The annual event benefits Crisis Intervention Services (CIS). For 15 years CIS has been providing support and resources to victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault.

Last year, CIS was named one of the model crime victim agencies in Iowa.

CIS invites all to the event. It is also accepting donations of items to include in the live and silent auctions.

The March 23 event starts at 5:30 and includes dinner and an auction offering guests the opportunity to bid on a variety of valuable items.

The event will be at the Eagles Lodge, 215 High Avenue East in Oskaloosa. Tickets are $30 per person or $50 per couple. CIS asks all to please RSVP and send checks to their address: 500 High Ave West in Oskaloosa.

Preston Auctioneers of Knoxville will be calling the auction. Any questions, please call Sue at 641 780 3236 or Sara at 641 673-0336. The purple ribbon is the symbol for domestic violence awareness.
