GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College swimmer Maddy Pesch ’16 has been nominated for the NCAA Woman of the Year honor for 2016.

Pesch joins a field of 517 honorees, the largest in the history of the Woman of the Year program. The program, in its 26th year, revolves around four pillars – academics, athletics, service and leadership.

Pesch, also an All-American Triathlete, won Grinnell’s Honor G Scholastic Award in 2016. She holds two school and Midwest Conference relay records and, in her career, won three individual MWC titles and was a 16-time league medalist.
