Osky Girls Bowling Sets New School Record

The Oskaloosa Boys and Girls bowling teams had another great day on the bowling lanes. The Osky Girls had another dominating performance and set a new School record with a score of (2639) beating Bondurant by 639 total pins who bowled an (2000) score. The girls were led by Sidney Thompson again with a high game of 237 and the high 2 game series of 415. Ava had the 2nd high 2 game series with a 353 series. This was a total team effort to beat the previous record of 2538, all the girls are being a lot more consistent and it shows in the scores. I am very proud and excited to see what this group can accomplish down the stretch run this last month of the season.

The Osky boys also scored well and beat Bondurant with a total score of(Osky – 3107) to (Bondurant – 2916) and the boys were led by Trey VanWyk who bowled his 2nd consecutive 2 game series over 550 wit ha 534 series and games of 278 and 256. Cole VanderWal had bowled a 461 2 game series and had games of 236 and 225 for his 2nd consecutive 400 series, while John Terpstra bowled his best 2 game series of 445 and games of 236 and 209.
