Osky & Albia Students Come Together for Half Time Performance

Oskaloosa, Iowa – Cheer and Tumble Tyme Twister’s youth and senior cheerleading squad performed at the Oskaloosa – Albia basketball games in Oskaloosa on Tuesday night.

The senior squad is made up of Albia and Oskaloosa students who quite often compete against each other in their high school sports programs. Members of the squad represent members of the Indian Volleyball, Basketball, and Cheerleading programs while other members represent Blue Demon Football, Volleyball, XC, Wrestling, & Cheer programs.

With the cooperation of the Oskaloosa athletic department the squad was able to schedule a performance for both home crowds in one night. The squad came together and decided that instead of representing CTT by wearing their traditional uniforms they’d instead represent their home town teams. Although competitive in the field these students displayed great sportsmanship by setting that aside and coming together as another team in maroon and blue at half time.
