OMS Softball Debuts at Lacey

Oskaloosa Middle School 8th grade girl’s softball team hosted their first game at the Lacey Recreation Complex Thursday, June 6th. With damp conditions this spring numerous games have been canceled or reschedule. Thankfully, the 5-plex at Lacey Recreation Complex is equipped with Shakopee Red Ball Diamond Aggregate and geared to drain effectively in a timely manner. The Indians took on the Pella Christian Eagles at 10:00 a.m. Pictured above, Indian pitcher, Josie Bunnell, fires in a strike as the Eagles look to steal third. Oskaloosa High School JV baseball will make an appearance at the Kentfield Field on June 24 at 11:00 a.m. To check out more events happening at Lacey explore Mahaska Community Recreation Foundation’s new website, www.mcrf.info.
