Oskaloosa Main Street Lighted Christmas Parade “Glitter and Glows” Around The Square

The CLOW Valve Train at Thursdays Lighted Christmas Parade in Oskaloosa. It’s one of the most recognizable parts to the yearly tradition.
Standing to the right of the train is Karen Hafner, Director of Oskaloosa Main Street, and the driving force in helping to make sure the parade continues to be an Oskaloosa tradition.
Oskaloosa, Iowa – The lights came on, and the parade made its 27th annual trip down High Ave and onto the Oskaloosa square Thursday night. The weather was cold enough to complete the Christmas feel, even without any snow on the ground or in the air.
The lights on the 66 different entries matched this years theme of “All that Glitter and Glows”.
