Oskaloosa Girls Tennis Falls On The Road
The Oskaloosa Girls Tennis team hit the road again Thursday night to play Pella Christian.The weather was in the 50’s and sunny.
Even though we lost the meet 3-8, the girls continue to have a very positive attitude. With 17 out of 22 girls to have never played tennis before this season, it’s learn on the fly. The girls had some really nice rallies and serves got better tonight.
Picking up wins were Presley and Lucy respectively at #1 and #2 singles and then fighting back in there doubles match after dropping the first set. They got things going in the second set and rolled through the tiebreaker.

The JV girls are learning a ton and have made huge improvments already this year. Our JV team is all freshman and many playing for the first time. We had a lot of matches tonight and the girls have fun and are competitive. We fell just short losing 8 to 10.
