Oskaloosa Ensembles Perform Well at State Large Group Festival
Oskaloosa Music Programs
On Friday evening, May 4 the High School Choir, Band and String Orchestra performed at State Large Group Festival in Oskaloosa. Each group performed for a panel of three judges who evaluated their using a I through V rating scale with I being the highest rating.
The Chamber Choir received a division II (excellent) rating. The Concert Band and String Orchestra received a division I (superior) ratings.
The Chamber Choir is directed by Chris Weinreich, the Concert Band by Rich Waddington and the String Orchestra by Bruce McLellan.
