Oskaloosa Bowlers Have Mixed Day

The Oskaloosa boys and girls both split the day with a win and a loss. They both beat Pella but both lost to Davis County. The girls just barely lost to Davis County by 8 total pins. The girls were led by Abby Drost who had team high game(164) and high 2 games series(310). Kaylee Haugen had 2nd high game(160) and series(296). The girls are still needing to work on making their spares.

The boys were led by Trey VanWyk wo had team high game(256) and the team high 2 game series(459). Trey Is now averaging 217 on the season. The boys were missing Jarrett Czerwinski for the bowling meet, but everyone stepped up and bowled a very competitive meet. I was very proud of how the new guys steppd up there game in our first home meet of the season and it is always nice to beat Pella. The boys are all working hard outside of practice to reach our goals at the end of the season.
