Numerous Athletes to Represent WPU at Nationals

Oskaloosa–Eight individuals will compete for the William Penn men’s track and field team as it battles at the NAIA National Championship next week.

The 70th Annual Championship will be held at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium in Gulf Shores, Ala. next Wednesday through Friday.

Nick Richardson-Jackson (Sr., Germantown, Md.) will guide the Statesmen as he is currently ranked fourth in the 100-meter dash in 10.41 seconds.

Jackson Coates (So., Aldie, Va., Engineering Technology) will be the most versatile athlete in WPU’s stable. The sophomore is fifth in the long jump at 24-6.5 and ninth in the 100-meter dash at 10.51 seconds.

Loubert Dagrin (So., Miami, Fla., Sociology) is next, sitting in sixth place in the 110-meter hurdles in 14.09 seconds.

Mofiyinfoluwa Alade (Sr., Hoffman Estates, Ill., Exercise Science) ranks ninth in the high jump at 6-8.75, while Jaelen Love (Jr., Crown Point, Ind., Secondary Education) will enter 12th in the 200-meter dash in 21.24 seconds.

Joel Brown (Jr., Columbus, Ga., Engineering Technology) is also set to compete in the 100, coming in 27th at 10.60, while Justin Moeller (So., Keota, Iowa, Psychology) will join Coates in the long jump as he is 19th at 23-6.75.

Brown, Coates, Richardson-Jackson, and Love will make up the 4×100-meter relay team that is 25th nationally at 41.69 seconds. Torian Kingston (Jr., Queens, N.Y., Sports Management) is set to be the alternate on the relay squad.
