Oskaloosa, Iowa – Mahaska County Sheriff Russ Van Renterghem reports there were no injuries in an accident that had a delivery truck hitting the rear of a grain wagon along Highway 163 on Friday afternoon. Van Renterghem says the delivery truck was traveling southbound along 163 about half a mile north of Exit 57 when it struck two grain wagons being pulled by a tractor.

A large amount of traffic made cleaning up the accident scene difficult, as several near misses took place as people were distracted by the accident.

The Mahaska County Sheriff’s Office is handling the investigation.
