NM Wins Shooting Invite

OTTUMWA – North Mahaska hosted its shooting invitational on Saturday and came away with the win over 13 other competitors. The meet was held at the Ottumwa Izaak Walton. More than 22,500 clays were thrown during the meet. More than 450 shooters competed at the meet.

Three Warhawks earned first place finishes in their respective divisions. Intermediate/Advanced winner was Caleb Hol. Junior varsity girls ‘winner was Jayden Hiner. Michael Hudnut captured first for varsity boys and Trenton Hol in second.

NM varsity boys squad took first place. Squad members were Hudnut, Hol, Colton Vander Wiel, Jacob Beyer, and Jackson Hiner.

Junior Varsity earned third place with Tyson Ferguson, Jayden Hiner, Rylan Spray, Jacob Held, and Ash Arthur making up the team.
