Marilyn Elizabeth Mull, 71, 0f Hedrick, passed away May 25, 2013 at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney.

Marilyn was born August 4, 1941 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Marilyn was a perfectionist. She loved to be challenged at work, SIEDA, where she was an executive assistant for 29 years. She was an avid gardener, constantly outdoors during the warmer season to ensure the beauty of her flowers. She also had a deep love for birds and reading. Those close to Marilyn knew there was always a book within arm’s reach of her. Marilyn was passionate about her grandchildren, children and her work. They were her life, and she was very proud of each.

Her family includes her three children, Patricia Wessel of Savannah, Georgia, Nichol (Bobby) Mallik of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and Jonathan (Melissa) Breitenbucher of Des Moines; and five beautiful grandchildren, Aiden and Gabriel Breitenbucher and Meera, Annika and Nina Mallik.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne W. Mull; and a brother, Richard Schaffer.

Marilyn’s wish was to be cremated. A private family disposition of cremains will be at a later date.
