Mahaska Little League Hosts State Tournament at Lacey

This past weekend Mahaska Little League hosted the the 9-10 and 11-12 Little League Softball State Tournament at the Lacey Recreation Complex in Oskaloosa. Although 12 teams competed, putting it all on the line, two teams rose to the occasion and came out on top. In the 9-10 division Grandview defeated Burlington 3-2 and in the 11-12 division JeWaKe defeated Burlington 8-2. JeWaKe and Grandview will move on to the Central Regional Tournament in Indianapolis, IN. Great job to all of the teams that played! Congratulations and good luck to the teams that will compete in Indiana.
