Maddox Gray Van Kooten, stillborn son of Jared Van Kooten and Lacey Walker, was born Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the MHP Hospital in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
His family includes his parents, Jared Van Kooten and Lacey Walker of Derby; one brother, Walker Overturf of Derby; maternal grandparents; Doug and Melissa Walker of Oskaloosa, paternal grandmother, Crystal Fynaardt of University Park; paternal grandfather, Don Van Kooten of Oskaloosa; maternal great grandparents, Peggy Walker of Oskaloosa and Ronald & Barbara Sheets of Oskaloosa; paternal great grandparents: Mary Ann Van Kooten of Oskaloosa, and Betty Augustine of Oskaloosa; aunts and uncles: Ariel (& Michael) Nance, Carissa (& Clayton) Scheve, Holly (& Brian) Erwin, Breonna (& Adam) Nimtz, and DeDee Ussery.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather, Earl Walker; paternal great grandfathers: Cornelius Van Kooten and Edward Fynaardt; and paternal step great grandfather, Charles Augustine.
A Private Funeral Ceremony will be held. Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
