Louise Doman, 76, of Fullerton, California, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 25, 2021. Louise Doman, daughter of Harry and Elsie Coleman of Oskaloosa, Iowa, was born on July 24, 1944.
Louise grew up on the family farm in Oskaloosa, where she loved to ride horses and spend time with her older sister, June.
Louise met her husband Tom on October 18, 1964, and had their first date at Knott’s Berry Farm, one of their favorite places to visit. They were engaged within months, and in true Louise fashion, she made Tom wait a month for an answer. Tom and Louise were married in January of 1965.
Louise loved to spend time with family, country dance, listen to Garth Brooks, travel, and bake cookies, pies, and cakes.
Louise sold AVON for years in California, being a top seller, winning numerous awards and trips to Hawaii and the Bahamas.
Louise loved her grandchildren and enjoyed seeing them on Halloween in their costumes. Louise was also fond of cats, her favorite being Siamese.
She is survived by her sons, Dan (& Debbie) Doman of California and Joe (& Heather) Doman of Utah; and two grandchildren, Nathan and Lucas of Utah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; parents, Harry and Elsie; and dear cats: Smokey and Coco Chan.
Private graveside services will be held in Forest Cemetery. Langkamp Funeral Chapel is handling Louise’s final arrangements.
