Live Healthy Hike at White Oak Conservation Area
Oskaloosa, Iowa – Come join the Mahaska County Conservation Board and the Mahaska Wellness Coalition at 9:00 on Saturday, July 21 on a Live Healthy Hike at White Oak Conservation Area. We will hike the trail around the 20 acre lake and take in the sights and sounds of nature all around us.
White Oak Conservation Area is located 3 miles south of Rose Hill. The lake has been stocked with bass, bluegill and catfish. It is equipped with a boat ramp and fishing jetty. Picnic shelters, grills, playground equipment and restroom facilities make this area a great place for family outings.
